Design and construction of plumbing, HVAC, process utilities (including process chilled water, steam/condensate, cooling water, compressed air), grain handling, and product piping systems for this distillery. Process utility and product piping is primarily 304 stainless steel. Since 2000, more than twenty projects have been completed.
Major design and build projects included New Central Utility Plant (includes 400-ton chiller plant), Distillery Expansion, including Steam Plant Expansion, and the 2010 Distillery Pre-expansion. Major plan/spec project included the new Regauge Building.
Lyons Company also was the recipient of the American Builders & Contractors, Inc. 2002 Award of Excellence for work performed at Maker’s Mark Distillery.
